Every session is different, and one of the reasons why I love photography! It is my goal to capture everyone's true personality with a fun, easy-going, relaxed experience. It is my belief that those candid shots are often the most memorable!
Where will the pictures take place?
I specialize in outdoor sessions and am willing to travel to a location of your choice. I also have a number of locations that I can recommend to you if you are unsure of where to go. Indoor photo sessions can take place at your home or location of your choice, as I do not have a studio.

What to wear?
I think this is the question that clients struggle with the most! I highly suggest you wear what reflects your personal style. You need to feel comfortable being you and you can’t go wrong with casual! For family sessions, I recommend you avoid wearing the same color but rather lean towards coordinating colors using patterns and solids is great! I would also suggest that you keep the color white to a minimum as it can be a difficult color to photograph and is often not a flattering color. A great way to get ideas is to check out websites of your favorite clothing stores!
Maternity “Belly” sessions:
The ideal time to schedule this session is between 26-32weeks.
Newborn Sessions:
I recommend having them photographed anywhere between 5-14 days old. This is when they are less aware and we can achieve those "newborn, sleeping shots." The newborn session will allow time for breaks, feedings, diaper changes and whatever will keep baby happy! I recommend taking portraits in the home of the baby. This will make everyone more comfortable being in their own environment. The most important thing is that the sessions are not rushed and relaxed! I suggest parents wear dark colors as baby will be main focus in the photo shoot.
